A post-game coach for Age of Empires II
Climbing usually comes down to fixing one thing at a time.
Play a ranked 1v1 and Uptime reads the replay your game already saved. It puts your age-up times next to the players winning a rank above you and tells you which gap to close first.
How it works
What actually happens after a game.
Your game already writes a replay every time you finish one. Uptime reads it, pulls your real timings, and lines them up against players winning just above your rank. You get one thing to work on.
- 1
Sign in
Discord or Google. It’s free, there’s no card, and nothing is held back for a paid tier.
- 2
Get the watcher
One click, and the download already has your sign-in built in. Nothing to copy, nothing to configure. It sits in the system tray and you can forget about it.
- 3
Play a ranked 1v1
Random Map, exactly as you would anyway. Uptime coaches 1v1 — team games still get saved, but there’s no rank benchmark to score them against.
- 4
It uploads itself
The watcher spots the finished replay and sends it over. Your Age of Empires profile links itself from that first game, so there’s nothing to type in.
- 5
Read the card
About ten seconds, or a bit longer if it’s your first game in a while. Your Feudal, Castle and Imperial times against the players winning a rank above you, with the widest gap called out.
- 6
Fix one thing
It’s written the way someone would actually say it. Work on that gap, and the next card tells you whether it moved.
Rather not install anything? You can drag replay files straight into the site instead and get the same report. The watcher just saves you doing it after every game.
The comparison itself is age-up times, Feudal through Imperial, against winners in the bracket above yours, drawn from the 2022–2024 ranked ladder. Uptime reads your build order and how busy your hands were too, but shows those as your own numbers rather than inventing a benchmark for them. The replay is read once and discarded; only the numbers are kept.
Why Uptime
It's a coach, not a dashboard.
Measured against your rank
You’re compared with the people winning a rank above you. The players you’re actually chasing, rather than a global average.
The next thing to work on
It picks the gap worth working on next and says it in a sentence, so there’s nothing to interpret.
It won’t oversell
Where the data is thin it says so, with the sample size, civ and patch on show. Where it can’t know, it doesn’t guess.
